I should copy this picture and send it to my sister. She'd find the cat cute but then wouldn't understand all of the abbreviations below it... :)
HAHAHAHA>....I'm sorry--I guess I must have overlooked that. :( By now you have probably seen it, so you'll have to let me know what YOU thought of it too--I, for the most part, was pretty creeped out by it. I have noticed a surge in anger among the general populace (mostly--and understandably--due to political matters, and of late, gas prices) and I feel it's really only a matter of time before people really start flipping out all over the place, so this movie struck a chord. It was pretty scary in its first third, and then during the second "act", the tone shifted and I wasn't really sure what it was I was looking at anymore...At first I was a little upset, and then I was able to appreciate it a little better. The last third of the film returned to creepiness, but for the most part, for me, it just had an underlying sadness to it, and I knew it wasn't going to end well. It was kind of a downer--in some ways a good downer, but overall, it really just added to my depressed state, which I've been in for awhile. :( Anyhoo--I went and saw "The Happening" Friday night, and thank god the acting was horrible because if it hadn't been I think I would have been VERY upset by it--the subject matter was pretty creepy too. As it was though, I laughed at quite a bit that wasn't supposed to be funny...It was full of those movie extras that don't get that you're not supposed to look directly into the camera when you're in a scene--that sort of crap.
