We all know the classics but what about all the others that don't get the attention they deserve? My first pick shall be: Strange Behavior (1981)

This is the toughest poll yet. Frankly, I think most slasher movies get the recognition they deserve. I doubt I can name more than 5 beyond the "classics" that are really worth watching more than once.

    I vote for HOSPITAL MASSACRE.

btw: What do you consider "the classics"? You know, just so I don't accidently vote for them. Is Sleepaway Camp a classic? My Bloody Valentine? The Prowler?

How can you go wrong with a grocery store slasher that has Dan Hicks, Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell, and shopping cart cam action?

I think by going away from the "classics", billy is thinking along the lines of those more obscure (albeit good) slashers that aren't as well-known/recognized enough by horror fans at large? I don't want to put words in his mouth though.

Going by that criteria though, I think Sleepaway Camp, My Bloody Valentine, The Prowler, Hell Night, and Tourist Trap wouldn't qualify.

Hell Night. The scene where Vincent Van Patten has sex without ever removing his boxers seals the deal.

I would think that as well. IMO, those are all slasher classics. Let me also add the obvious ones in Halloween, Friday the 13th, Black Christmas, and The Burning.

That's what I actually meant with 'classics' - the obvious ones.
