LET'S SCARE JESSICA TO DEATH by far! Excellent and underrated as hell horror film!

Went with Abominable Dr. Phibes. Vincent Price is great in this. Love all the "theme" murders.

I'm torn between "...Phibes" and "Cat Of...", and purely out of nostalgia I choose "...Phibes".

A Lizard In A Woman's Skin - hands down. Definitely blows away any other film mentioned and also may be Fulci's best film, although The Beyond, Don't Torture A Duckling, and House By The Cemetery make a push to share the honors.

To those who have already voted, have any of you ever watched "A Lizard In A Woman's Skin?" I really doubt it.

Brotherhood Of Satan. I thought this was one of the best of the satanism movies of the late 60's/early 70's.

I'd have to go with The Abominable Dr. Phibes. Classic flick.

BLOOD FROM THE MUMMYS TOMB. Hammer Horror at it's finest.

Argento again, THE CAT O NINE TAILS. Yes... I admit... I'm a sucker for Argento movies

  17. It was difficult to vote here. My choice was "HANDS OF THE RIPPER"
but there are many titles which come close:
    DR. JECKYLL & SISTER HYDE
    LUST FOR A VAMPIRE
    A BAY OF BLOOD
    THE DEVILS
    DAUGHTERS OF DARKNESS
    TOMBS OF THE BLIND DEAD
    THE CAT O NINE TAILS
    LETS SCARE JESSICA TO DEATH
It was a good year IMO, but without an outstanding masterpiece.

Didn't you forget "THE HOUSE THAT SCREAMED"?
    :)

It came down to Twitch Of The Death Nerve and Tombs Of The Blind Dead both were excellent.Twitch though is a turning point in horror cinema..the birth of the true slasher/body count film..at least IMHO.So it gets my vote..

A lot of great ones up there, but Let's Scare Jessica to Death is my favorite. Here's hoping this is the year we finally get it on DVD.

We should probably have a newer poll than this. This ones so old I'm sure I must've already voted years back. I don't see how I could've missed it. Since then I bought a new computer and with it a new IP address so the poll doesn't remember me. In which case, I had to have voted for Phibes twice. It's been one of my all time favorite horror movies from any year since the late 80s.
