Very nice, though I wonder why so many of these new special editions fail to offer up the theatrical trailer (even when they are readilly available),do they really take up that much space ?

Sony, for some damn reason has been the guiltiest of parties in regards to this.

Nah, you're only looking at a couple of minutes max, which doesn't exactly have to be encoded at the highest possible bitrate like the main feature itself. Although in this case it is pretty packed they're using two discs, for the most part there's usually room left over on a DVD for at least a trailer.

I just hope these SE's mean they're looking at some HD releases soon. Not sure about the recent Fox SE's but usually colorization means a new transfer, which if they did would undoubtably be HD. Plus it's Fox/Sony so as a Blu-ray owner I'll be set as soon as they release the damn things.

    But's it's a classic!

Well, since Ray Harryhausen himself helped with it, then it's fine by me as long as they also include the B&W version as well, which they will.
