There's something wrong with the shipping calculation. I've sent them an e-mail (but haven't gotten a response yet). I'll let you know when (or if) I get an answer.

There's even a disclaimer about this during checkout, where they ask all international customers (incl. Canada) to contact them for correct shipping rates.

I remember reading those back in the day. Fun stuff.
Obviously it's going to appeal to more loyal fans of the franchise. While I like the films I've only seen the first three and don't feel the trunk is necessary to have. I still think it's a sales gimmick, just a really nice one.

I'm interested to see how the remastered transfers hold out too.

Thus far, it looks like more than half are already gone as far as pre-orders now. The counter on the site is at 936 units still available.

It now looks like more than 1,100 have been sold as pre-orders, and just under 700 remain.

I'm wondering though... was it 900 DVD trunks and 900 Blu-ray trunks originally? :eek1:

I'm pretty sure they will print 1800 trunks, and then just include DVD or BD according to who ordered what. I assume they will have a lot of both titles on both DVD and Blu-ray, since they're getting separate releases a few months later.

That's my thought. Originally it sounded like 1800 of each, but now it shows as only the total for both. Once the pre-orders are done they'll know what to make.

I also got an Amazon.com email with a big push for Full Moon's newest titles. "Are you looking for something in our Horror DVD department? If so, you might be interested in these items." And it lists Evil Bong 1/2, Gingerdead Man 1/2, Demonic Toys 2, PM: Legacy, Dangerous Worry Dolls and PM vs DT. I've never bought a FM title from Amazon (that I can recall) so I wonder if they paid Amazon for a little advertising. If so, it's strange that they'd push PM vs DT which even Band disowned.

I have a blu trunk on preorder. I seriously love Full moon directs customer service. On a previous order, two of the art prints I ordered got creased in shipping to me. When I preordered the trunk I mentioned in the email that they were damaged. They are sending me 2 more rolled in a tube, for no extra charge.

 This is exactly what you get, direct from Full Moon's website:

If you don't want the trunk, you can wait and buy the film's individual DVD/Blu-ray releases later in the year.

I'm going to wait and see Axis before I buy it in any form. Although it looks good I have been fooled before.
