It has to be Fright Night for me, with Return of the Living Dead and Friday The 13th Part V as runner-ups.

This one is nearly impossible to choose only one...

    I'll go with Re-Animator though.

    Oooh, another tough one.

For me though, I can't stress the impact that Return of the Living Dead had on my life. It came out just as I was getting into punk and the soundtrack became a huge gateway for me. It was my introduction to The Cramps, Roky Erickson, T.S.O.L. and there really was just no turning back after that.

That and the way the film managed to be so funny and scary at the same time was really impressive.

Oh, and I am sure that Linea Quigley's dance was responsible for a large number of my teen year fetishes.

I choose Fright Night, but my second choice would be Demons.
And the Third would probably be Lifeforce :)

Re-animator has been my favorite forever, but Return of the Living Dead, Day of the Dead, Lifeforce, and Fright Night are all good.

That's a tough call. I can't decide between Re-animator and Return of the Living Dead.

Excellent year for horror! Return of the Living Dead is my favorite. Day of the Dead would be a pretty close second. Also really enjoy Phenomena, The Stuff, and Lifeforce.

I'll never understand why the love for both needs to be mutually exclusive. ;)

I've seen every title on the list with the exception of Confessions of a Serial Killer. This list was too difficult for me to choose just one.

Best film- Return of the Living Dead

But, this says "favorite" film specifically, so I had to go with Friday the 13th Part V.
