Oh, forgot, Friday (28th) I caught the Wallace & Gromit flick at the cinemas. Really cozy and enjoyable movie with a nice Halloween-autumn vibe throughout. And yesterday (30th) I saw the first Masters of Horror episode "Incident...". It was pretty so-and-so stuff.
On the 30th day of October: Hellraiser Inferno - and like so many before me I'm wondering why this is an Hellraiser movie... Still was kinda enjoyable
October 30th - at the cinema: "Fall of the House of Usher" this great Vincent Price film was shown in full 35mm in a glorious, colorful, near-perfect print! Followed by "Comedy of Terrors" in a slighly beat-up, pink tinted print. The film still endeared the audience with it's witty comedy and was an obvious favorite judging by the roaring applause at the end. This was followed by "The Abominable Dr. Phibes" which was presented in such fine form the film looked brand-spanking new. Sharp, colorful and nerr a scratch in site...excellent presentation!!! Brings a tear to yerr eye when you see these films presented so well on a huge widescreen with a big audience!!!
