October 6th: at the cinema - Vincent Price in THE MAD MAGICIAN in 3D (terrific film and the 3-D was EXCELLENT!!! The theater used a genuiune silver screen and the film itself was near flawless - near mint, really!)
when I got home, I watched DESTROY ALL MONSTERS. Nothing like a good Godzilla film for this time of year.

    October 7: Scary Movie.
After watching and laughing my ass off over Scary Movie 3.5 the other day, I was in the mood for the first one.

ok, this is my thread of what I have watched so far since Oct. 1. this list is not in order however.

I have been taking advantage of Comcast On Demand and watching atleast 1 movie a night in bed. so far I have watched:

    American Werewolf in Paris
    Bride of Chucky
    Strangeland
    Christine
    Childs Play
    DOTD 04
    Freddy vs. Jason

there are a ton more if I only continue doing it this way too.

I am currently watching Audition which has been sitting in my tivo for a week or so now.

I didn't have any time the last two days, but on the seven day of October:

Slumber Party Massacre II - People are painfully stupid in this one, and the movie sucks imo. I rather have a real killer than whatever was in there.

Let Sleeping Corpse Lie - I think it's a good ambient zombie flick.

No, I did not watch Army Of Darkness. These classic words can be heard in...

The Day The Earth Stood Still... for about 30 minutes! Great film and not that cheesy as expected. However, this line kinda amused me though:

"We're all set. I picked up some sandwiches and put gas in the car. The Radio's still on the blink... so we can forget about the Spaceman for today!"

    :D

Nice apocalyptic double feature, perfect for October/Halloween :)

Watched GIRLS NITE OUT last night....kind of disappointed. The characters were so overly stupid (as far as the neverending "Look how funny and wacky I am" kind of dialogue) that I almost turned it off. It gets better after the first hour (!!!) but I still wish I had seen it as a kid--nostalgia would probably do wonders for this flick.
