A little game I came up with: The next person must make & break the movie I left at the end of my post, and then post a new title at the end of his/hers post for the next person to make & break, and so on and on. All set? Here we go ---

    The Mutilator (1985)

    Makes

    ~ Theme song
~ Fun & gory kills (unrated version only)
    ~ Beach house setting

    Breaks

    ~ Unsympathetic, dull cast
~ Killer's identity revealed too soon
    ~ Annoying random slapstick comedy

    Next: My Bloody Valentine (1981)

    My Bloody Valentine (1981)

    Makes

    ~ Mine setting
    ~ Older cast, no teens
    ~ Great killers outfit

    Breaks

    ~ Sort of dull colors/season
~ Too much left on the cutting floor for release
~ Sarah & T.J. convo in the beginning

P.S. - Hey Hellbilly, why not pick a easier film. :) I had to basically make up 3 faults for MBV. But yet you worked off Mutilator. ;)

But if that's how you want to play. Here you go, have fun next guy.

    Next: Halloween (1978)

I tried, but I can't think of 3 things that "break" Halloween. Wouldn't it be a bit better if the makes/breaks of a particular movie were divided between people? Like if Baggio posts his three "makes" for Halloween, then its up to the next person to post three "breaks" and then post their own three "makes" for a new film, challenging the next person to "break" it? *shrugs*

Interesting idea dave13. Sorry about the Halloween, but like MBV, that was hard for me. (apparently it was hard for others too, because the thread had a bunch of views before I posted)

I can't even come up with breaks myself. Maybe that the car Michael Myers drove was lame?

Holy hell, there's one right there. Plot hole. How the hell does Michael know how to drive? There's one break. Now someone come up with 2 more. :p

Good picks for Halloween. You are right, both Laurie and Michael are falling all over themselves to pad the running time. Would loved to have PJ Soles and her switch places.

Sure, sounds like a good idea. That is, if people are still interested in this game. I'll give it another shot:

    High Tension (2003)

    Makes

    ~ Explicit violence
    ~ Interesting "twist"
    ~ Old school vibe
