Like a poor man's The Shallows:

The movie itself looks all right, but wow, that poster and the fonts used in the trailer look cheap as hell.

I got the recalled anchor bay DVD under its alternate title in the deep. It is quite rare now. The movie itself is pretty good I enjoyed it but not as much as the shallows.

Wow, they recalled it and then retitled it? Weird. Glad to hear it's fun. Definitely a rental for me.

Yeah very strange circumstance, must have cost a few quid for the re-call. Anyway, got to watch it before the re-call, very enjoyable, for me it felt more tense and claustrophobic than the shallows, If you enjoyed that you will definitely enjoy this.

I had a great time with this one! Way better than The Shallows. Fast-paced, suspenseful, and fun! The ending is a major let down and will probably make-or-break the movie for some, but it didn't spoil the ride getting there for me.

I'd put this up there with Deep Blue Sea and Bait 3D as one of the most entertaining "killer shark" movies of the past 20 years. It does feel like something that could have easily gone straight-to-disc, so I'm really glad I got the opportunity to see it on the big screen.

They should have kept the original poster.

Chris Stuckmann didn't like this one at all lol.

Hearing how he talks about the characters I'm doubting I'll like it much either. Will probably still check it out at some point online out of curiosity.

Are they not entertaining? Dumb sure, but also fun and good for a laugh. Most reviewers who have said they enjoyed those films admit they are totally stupid and defy belief. Oh and it's The Fate oF the Furious ;)

Don't get me wrong, I have pretty much enjoyed most of them (except #3 with that terrible actor) but things got WAY too unbelievably stupid in the last 2 or 3. My issue with Chris is he pooped all over the "Resident Evil" flicks, which I put in the same bucket as the latest F&F flicks.

PS: Fate OF the Furious, all I see now is F this and|or|of F that :)

I actually even got enjoyment out of the 3rd Furious movie as it was just so stupid I couldn't help but laugh. That being said it was also one of the last film in the franchise I saw as it never appealed to me as a title when it came out.

Well most reviewers I've seen don't like the Resident Evil flicks and I don't blame them. The Final Chapter was one of the most poorly edited movies I'd seen in quite some time. It was so bad I don't think I made it 20 minutes in before turning it off because I had a headache from all the frantic cuts and couldn't tell what was going on. Terrible.

I enjoyed the 1st 3 resident evil films but not the last 3. The only furious movies I like was the 1st one the rest didn't care for

I agree, the first 3 are definitely better than the rest. Still not much of a fan but the ones after that I didn't enjoy at all.

Not a massive Furious fan either but I get the dumb enjoyment they bring. Don't think I'd buy either franchise but I'd rather sit through the Furious films over the last 3 Resident Evil films.

Sharks, cars and zombies apparently :p

But yes, back on topic, I'm not too sure I'll enjoy this one. I haven't liked much shark movies since Jaws.

I didn't see the Fate of the Furious but it did make 1.2 billion dollars so I would have to say that a lot of people enjoyed it.

Wait, so the shit, errr shark movie in theaters right now was out on dvd, but got recalled? When is it from?
I went to see this today since it was starting as I was leaving All Eyez on Me. Man it was tough not to walk out. There is no gore whatsoever and the ending has been done before, and done far fucking better before! The girls are stupid and annoying and while I wished for them to get killed... Not even one half-decent on-screen kill, in a freaking shark flick! Fuck man, at least Shark Night had some fun, if not way too cut, kills. This had like one shark hit.
If you're on the fence about paying to see this, please don't.

Note, this satisfies the terms and condition of my community service sentence and agreement. The 80 or so minutes I wasted in that theater count towards the time balance. Plus 15 minutes to format this public warning for 95 minutes total. Also note, warning would qualify for PG-13 rating with no gore and one f bomb, just like the movie.

Caught this last night. It was OK. I was entertained for the most part but it certainly won't be a disc ill add to the collection any time soon. I also didn't see how it got an R rating. Pretty tame overall. There was one really badass scene towards the end though. It may be in the trailer but I dug.
