This to me is the most interesting of the new announcements:

Thirdly, a final and very ambitious stretch goal. If we can get the total over £70,000 before this ends in 5 days time, everyone who has pledged a level 1,2,3 or 4 will receive a remastered in 2K Anthropophagous Blu-ray or DVD with all new bonus features..

Got to be worth it, pledge the £45 for level 1 and now get 5 movies, that's cheaper than buying them in the shops, and with the limited slipcases as well! 5 days to get £10,000, it's achievable, come on guys spread the word and let's get this final push and goal.

I donated for titles that I would almost certainly have purchased separately when they were released anyway. Even if some of these released are bare bones I still would have gotten them. I've purchased nearly all the blu-rays that 88 Films has released so far and don't see any reason not to take advantage of this campaign.

Some people are moaning that if we hit £70K that we will get a fifth title bla bla bla it should be £60K etc. I donated for the four titles and we hit the goal. I have not given anymore money since and i have no desire to give anymore i am happy with getting the original four if we get a fifth great.

No one is forcing people to keep donating. I dont know some people.

Exactly. I donated once, they hit the top advertised goal, I'm happy. Everything else is just gravy.

I donated multiple times because they added different specials which I was interested in. There are still 3 days left with just under 5K more to get the fifth blu-ray as a bonus. It's so close.

It just hit £72,000 thanks to someone donating £5,000 about 20 minutes ago.

The 70K goal has been met. Someone actually paid the 5K perk.

WOW, £5,000, the perk is interesting , get everything ever released gone by and everything ever released in the future, let's hope for the pledger they don't decide to close up shop after this campaign!!!

Glad it got over £70,000, I was happy with the 4 films, but always like more if I can get it, so 5th film is a very nice bonus.

This turned out to be a sweet deal--$65 for Blu-rays of 5 interesting genre films with ZERO commercial appeal. I know there are people who will bitch about anything. But I don't see any reasonable way to argue that this isn't preferable to the Twilight Time $30 a disc model. And most of the TT releases are for movies that have much stronger followings.

Even if the transfers are less than amazing, this is still a good value. Most of these flicks are in desperate need of upgraded presentations. The Mya DVD of Absurd isn't even anamorphic.

There are only two scenarios where this doesn't turn out to be a steal: 1) the transfers are Silent Night, Deadly Night; 2) we never get the discs. Other than that, this is a huge win.

The first for sure. I don't even know what I'm looking at in the second art and the last (while cool) has nothing to do with the film.

Definitely the first for me as it was what was on the UK video nasty cover.

Yeah, the first on the front, the second on the reverse, and the third they can throw away, as it's the "Zombie 6" artwork, and misleading as fuck.

I've always thought the UK VHS cover was pretty boring, the second is slightly better but the third, however arbitrary and misleading, is by far the best looking. I'm sure the first will be the default cover but hopefully the third will be the alternate!

I thought they had agreed on the blue axe art for ABSURD? It's the main reason I contributed to the crowdfund campaign - for that slip with that art.

The main reason you contributed was for the slip?
