Rock Shock Pop reviews Nightmare Beach: http://www.rockshockpop.com/forums/content.php?7738-Nightmare-Beach-(88-Films)-Blu-ray-Review
Yesterday I received a shipping notification from Amazon UK for Nightmare Beach and then today it was in my mailbox. Didn't pay for any special shipping either, just the regular international shipping to the US. Skimmed the disc and am really looking forward to revisiting this in HD although I don't know if it will be an October title...
Yeah I'm surprised this still hasn't gotten a release. I remember quite enjoying it. Watched the trailer the other day to re-jog my memory and thought it still looked pretty good.
Body Count is currently tied up in a studio bankruptcy (unless that has been resolved recently), so nobody can touch the film until that clears up.
DVDBeaver reivews 88 Film's Blu-ray of Green Inferno (aka Cannibal Holocaust 2): http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film2/DVDReviews46/green_inferno_blu-ray.htm
Blind bought Green Inferno and it looks like a fun romp but how old is that girl that parades around half naked? She looks to be about 12 lol.
If you buy through Amazon does it come with the slip or is that exclusive to the 88 site? I'm looking to pick this up soon.
Not sure about Amazon. I always try to order direct from the label whenever there's an exclusive slipcover. There are so many exclusives that it's hard to keep track of all the various releases but the extra stuff is usually site exclusive. The Green Inferno slip is cool. Not one of the best but still essential for collectors.

Dir Lucio Fulci. Check out their campaign and donate! https://www.indiegogo.com/…/88-films-italian-restoration-pr…
I want Beatrice Cenci but not enough to pay for it with that other movie, too bad you can't back just one.
This is certainly not as good perk wise as their previous campaign, only 2 (possibly 3 films), slipcases only guaranteed if additional 10 grand (35 grand point) reached (and limited to 1000), and additional mystery film only available at additional 65 grand (100 grand point)!!! What's the mystery film that needs 65 grand! Maybe they felt they underestimated the previous campaign, but these are high numbers, especially as you got 5 films last time with a lower overall total.
I'll donate just for the possibility of getting that slip with that gorgeous girl on the cover lol. Half joking. In for perk 1 but, at $66, this is pushing the boundaries of what I'm willing to splurge on. I'm already about to push another boundary on Monday by paying fifty bucks for Opera, which now appears to have a potential flaw (Italian track in mono). If it wasn't because I got part of my tax refund I wouldn't be splurging this much.
This is all a little confusing to me. Why not just restore the 2 films, sell them when it's complete and save the Indiegogo Fees?
***NEW TITLE ANNOUNCEMENT*** Coming soon to Blu-ray from 88 Films! Fabrizio De Angelis’ “Karate Warrior”(1987)!!! ***NEW TITLE ANNOUNCEMENT*** Coming soon to Blu-ray from 88 Films! Luigi Cozzi’s “Paganini Horror” (1989)! When a female rock band use an infamous old piece of sheet music to record their new album, they accidentally open a portal to hell.
Ugh... They´re really starting to scrape the bottom of the Italian barrel now. I'm giving up the hopes that any of these labels will release Atlantis Interceptors on BD, which is one of the few remaining Italian movies, that I really want a proper release for. Wonder if the rights are impossible to get to?
Never heard of these, paganini horror sounds interesting, but it has bad reviews on IMDB. It can't be worst than Nightmare Beach can it?
Edit: I realized it not the movie I though it was. I found it on youtube, and I don't think I've ever seen it They used the exact same artwork on another Italian movie. So I've mixed them up, with another turd Here's the movie on youtube:
