Don't forget Tales from the Crypt, the 1972 Amicus film. The first story had a escaped mental patient wearing a Santa suit stalking Joan Collins. This deserves mention.

Good call. I also love the Tales From The Crypt TV episode. One of my favorites.

I'd count Deep Red, since a significant scene in that film occurs at Christmas

Worth mentioning even? Those are both Sub-Rosa flms, so I'm sure that they're no-budget and complete crap.

Home for the Holidays (1972) - More of a murder mystery than horror, but has some very Friday the 13th moments in it.

Not really horror (well, not horror at all), but since Nightmare Before Christmas gets in there, this one should too:

    Batman Returns!

Dead of Night (1945) - one of the first segments is during the holidays.

Twilight Zone - there was a Christmas episode, something about a guy finding Santa's bag.

    Beyond Tomorrow (1940)

Santa Claus (1959) - its a Mexican film, Santa vs the devil.

Santa Claus Conquers The Martians (1964)

    Ghost Story (1981)

if we're adding TV shows stuff in there, then I'll add these:

Alfred Hitchcock Presents: season 1 - Santa Clause and the 10th avenue kid
Twilight Zone: Season 2, Episode 47 - Night of the Meek
