This is my favorite Fulci film.

I really think the full screen blurb is a typo, which isn't surprising. I'm hoping Shriek Show deliver the goods with this film as it deserves the best possible presentation.

Full-Frame would blow donkey dick big time. Also, how could they misspell Fulci's name... that's embarrassing. Either the person that put up the information was drunk of they don't really give a shit about their releases.

I'm really looking forward to Fulci's "Lizard in a Woman's Skin" in 2.35:1... I'm afraid we'll be getting Fulchi's full frame version instead.

Never seen this flick, but have only heard and read good things about this. I'll be sure to pick it up, fullscreen or widescreen.

    I wouldn't panic. I'm sure it's a typo.

Typo or not, I've waited a long time to see this movie, looking through video stores (for the US AIP release) and bootlegs, and here it is!

Yup - it's widescreen anamorphic - this is a typo.

the cover art looks pretty good. I still wish they would use the orginal poster art though. But its better than the Spasmo cover art at least.:nervous:

They should center the title to the center of the case instead of being so high up. Still, no biggie. ;) Maybe Shriek Show will make it a flipper front cover with the other side containing the original poster art.

Alright - latest news from another board!

The movie is actually 1:85 - not 2:35. AND - the cover shown above is a slipcase. The ACTUAL cover is the original poster art (nude woman and all.) The slipcase is to hide the naked woman.

Lizard is 2.35:1 and I expect it to be released as such.

I am interested to know how you can find out what the OAR's are. The post I quoted is supposed to come from one of the people working for Shriek Show. I am curious though. IMDB has this sort of info, but it's not exactly a "definitive" source. Anywhere else?

To quote: "it will be anamorphic but according to our research and what we have seen it is 1.85:1 not 2.35..."

There really isn't one definitive source other than researching the film in question.

As for Lizard and it being 2.35:1, that is how he shot from this period in his career.

I'd love to see what "research" Shriek Show has to validate their claim that it is 1.85:1, as that simply isn't the case.
