They used the old Italian cover for this one:

Media Blasters and PAL to NTSC is very worrisome. A lot of their releases suffer from poor conversions.

Knowing Media Blasters, there could be pretty big problem with it. I'm just going to wait and see what everyone says, rather then just waste the time pre-ordering, wasting the money, and being disappointed.

True, but what source was the first edition from? That was never mentioned (correct me if i'm wrong).I haven't read about conversion problems of that one.
Come to think of it I haven't read that in most of the newer MB/SS reviews at all.Only some framing problems on one or two titles.
It's AB that is doing things wrong lately (interlacing, bad conversions).

At least I can watch the complete film in its correct AR legitimately.
Whether it is really complete we'll just have to find out.

I am skeptical of this statement. I didn't think Media Blasters was in the business of doing their own transfers. I certainly hope they are but this is a title they've already released and I can't imagine everyone who bought the first disc will re-buy this. Recouping their costs is going to be more difficult than if they had done things right the first time. You won't convince me either that they are doing this solely to make it up to the people they've disappointed.

Okay, that review just totally won me over, even though I was dead set against upgrading. I will definitely be buying the remastered release now and I will be keeping the old disc for the awesome documentary on Fulci.

As someone who isn't wild about Fulci's zombie/horror material and didn't like Don't Torture a Duckling that much, would you recommend me blind buying Lizard In A Woman's Skin?

Honestly, no. Rent it first, or find yourself a copy of the current release. I'm sure there will be many here willing to unload the current disc fairly cheap.

I'm someone who LOVES Don't Torture a Duckling, but is still lukewarm about Lizard. It's a competently made Giallo, but to me it doesn't stand out from the others.

Still not sure if I will double-dip on it. If I do, it will be when I find it at a significant discount or used.
