That's a great looking picture, but I'll hold back any excitement until I see the trailer. If there is anything that i learned from Rob Zombie's "Halloween" is just because a great picture is released to hype up a movie doesn't necessarily mean it will end up being a good movie.

It's hard to tell with that image as it's low quality and has filters and whatnot all over it but it appears to look like a step in the right direction. It's given me a little hope.

I'm not too worried about the new Pinhead. Doug Bradley couldn't save the last 4 or so sequels he was in, anyway; so not that much rests on his shoulders anymore. Give 'em a halfway decent script, and I'll take Taylor, the Revelations guy, or anybody else who stumbles onto set. Especially if they keep Pinhead's screen-time to less than five or so minutes like most of the films have done.

I mean, this'll probably suck, and I'll just be watching it out of morbid curiosity. But a Pinhead cameo won't be what makes or breaks it for me.

Not to go off topic, but looks like they are rushing a new Children Of The Corn into production to keep the rights too. John Gulager directing.

I've never seen or even read the original. Before I knew it, there's seven of them.

Pretty sure there's actually nine of them lol.
The first three were probably the most fun for me. I've not seen the last two though which is the remake and Genesis.

Nine? Oi vey. I'll try and catch the original if it ever appears on Netflix to see if it captures my interest. It must be quite remarkable to spawn eight sequels. Star Wars hasn't even reached that point yet.

I really enjoyed the first film and the short story is good fun, too. You could skip everything else and lead a fulfilled life.

I've never been a fan of the original COTC film. Found it to be pretty dull.

2-5 are dumb fun IMO. Meh about the rest.

The original is OK but definitely not something that should have spawned this many sequels. 2&3 are definitely in that dumb fun category.

 Sort of intesting how the studios can't put a simple ass number on these films. We could be at Part 12 at this point. Yet they keep presenting each sequel as Part 1. Then they put some word next the Hellraiser titsvillthology.
