I'm sure he's much more interested in porn anyway.

I'm sure we could find someone to play the beast. Surely it can be done.

Well, i don' t think so.
He was never a fan of porn and gore films.
according to Luigi Montefiori he never saw the "Santo Domingo" Films (i.e. Porno Holocaust, Sesso Nero, Le Notti Erotiche dei morti Viventi etc.)

    Sound Remixes ?
Yeah Ok, but what do you prefer more ? Music of "Antropophagus" or "Le Notti". or other stuff ?

I am in contact with Roger Conrad again.
Maybe we can record some new tracks from the movies.
I would love to produce it. And Roger is amazing in playing it.
He has no sheets, he figured out the arrangement only from listening. I could never do that. My strength is more in Synthesizer programming and producing the sound :)

They are using an Italian language master for the DVD. They also are comparing the Italian master with an English language master in case there is something in the English language version that is not in the Italian language version. They also plan on including English and Italian audio options for this release (alas at this time it looks like there will be no English subtitles like their other DVD releases that included both English and Italian audio options).

    I hope so.
but as many english dubbings for italian movies, they are awful. So is the dubbing for "Rosso Sangue" ;)
Even for people like me. And english is not my mother language.
    I am german.
And i have to say that the german dubbings were far more professional. at least during the 80ies. :)

I sure as hell hope so. I ALSO hope that they get rid of that GOD AWFUL artwork. Even if they used the image that on the front of the UK tape (the axe), I'd be happy. But when they create new and trendy looking covers just to appeal to today's teeny-boppers, I have a HUGE issue with that.

Also, why the hell are they calling this film "Horrible"? I know it was the french title, but this is not a french release!! For fuck's sake, CALL IT "Abusrd"!! That's the title everyone knows it as!! Why do they have to purposely complicate these things?! These aren't huge gripes either.. these are small issues that really take no effort to fix.

    QFT!

I agree with everything here. They need to try and release this thing properly. Both artwork and title stink.

There's really no excuse for that artwork. It's very generic and bland and I'm sure they could have either whipped something better up or used one of the many posters used to advertise the film.

I don't know how off I may be but I believe they're releasing it under the title HORRIBLE because MGM supposedly owns the rights to the film and it's possible they don't have it copy written under that title? I'm grasping at straws here but it's not the film's original title and judging by their FOUR FLIES ON GREY VELVET release, they like to stick to the original English title which I believe in this case would be ABSURD.

If anyone's interested, the Italian title translated into English is; RED BLOOD.

Doesn't really roll off the tongue...
