All over it. Haven't seen a lot of them but I have always wanted to explorer more of Hitch. What a way to do it.

Oh, I just hope that this doesn't have the same packaging issues that the last Hitchcock collection had. It looks like it may be a similar book-style packaging.

Guys, it's UNIVERSAL. It'll obviously be region-free. They've never locked anything.

This set better come with a towel, because I just came everywhere. This looks amazing.

Very nice looking set. Good thing for me that I'm only a fan of Psycho and The Birds. Saves me a lot of money. :)

that was actually my thought, after saying there was no way i could afford it. i also didn't notice that it includes North by Northwest, which wasn't in the Masterpeice Collection. That's kind of interesting, since it was given a really stellar Warner Bros. blu ray a few years ago. Anybody know what happened there? Because Warner owns a good chunch of other Hitch films. Can you imagine if they completely combined the masterpiece collection with the nine films in the Warner Directors Series box? We're talking 23 films! That's almost half his entire output.

Anyway, once the price is revealed, I may do a little calculating to determine how much it would cost should i sell the Masterpiece collection, along with my NbNW and Psycho BDs...still, i'm not too hopefull...

I just hope my library gets this set, as I won't be able to justify the price I'm sure. I like Hitchcock, not sure if I love him though. I do want to revisit some titles and some others I just missed.

Warner got Universal's Spartacus in their Kubrick boxset so maybe they did a trade.

I held off North By Northwest (because I'm not really a fan) and I held off buying Psycho expecting an eventual boxset. Infact I held off on the DVDs! So I'll be keeping my eye on the prices and will pounce... Hopefully on Black Friday.

I'll wait for an eventual single release of The Birds since it's the only one with new bonus material. I have most of the other ones already on DVD.

Same, I have been waiting on this for what seems like years so I can check out more of his output. Everything I've seen so far has been extremely good.

It's $13.99 per title at Amazon's price. That's not bad.

I'm still going to wait for it to get lower and will keep it on my Christmas List in the meantime. :D

individual hitchcock titles have been selling for $15 (rebecca, notorious, spellbound, to catch a thief), so it's a decent price, but by no means phenomenal. if someone has $200 to spend in one shot, then yes, it's absolutely worth it - they're all great movies (some more than others), and the price per film is...reasonable. but i don't have that kind of money to spend all at one time. i'm sure those that bite will be quite satisfied. if it had been $50-$75 less, I would have been sorely tempted, although that's probably asking for a bit much.
