Is this your most anticipated Blu-ray release of the year?

I guess it is. But imagine the anticipation when Star Wars is announced for Blu. ;)

Nope, Flash Gordon is. I've been waiting for Flash since the last DVD release. Admittedly I sold my SD Alien Anthology anticipating the release too, but I've got priorities. ;)

Not if the rumored Goonies hits Blu before the years out!

Nah I'd totally take Alien over The Goonies. Although a Goonies set would be pretty dope, I'd much prefer the Alien set. These movies are gonna look amazing.

I didn't know there was no Region A release. The Goonies has been available on Blu-ray in Germany and most of Europe since 2008. Weird.

I am really excited about what Shout Factory might announce of the Roger Corman titles. But since I doubt Slumber Party Massacre/Sorority House Massacre will get a blu-ray release, Alien set wins by a mile.

I tell you this is making a really good argument for me to save up same cash, buy a new tv/blu ray player and then buy this on Blu ray. There have been some other releases that have pushed me close to the edge but this one might finally do it.

Great news indeed, but considering I haven't even watched my standard DVD releases I can't make this my #1 excitement of the year. I've seen these flicks so many times on cable over the years I've lost my mojo on them.

If the Elm Street/Friday The 13th Blu box's gets a 2010 release, they will get my vote. To be honest, if Warner cleaned up Caddyshack, that would get my vote. I am still going to get it though.
