So I didn't actually plan on buying this today, since it was $119.99 at HMV, $109.99 at Future Shop, so I was like fuck it, I'll wait till Christmas. But, I happened to walk into Best Buy today and low and behold...$79.99! That sold me on the set. The packaging is beautiful, holy shit. This definitely has to be one of the best blu-ray releases this year. Possibly THE best.

It'll be around $30-$40 in an Amazon's sale some months ahead as tons of titles I've tracked in time since their release. Why to waste so much money just because it's new?

    Patience.

Much to my surprise, my limited edition "egg packaging" came today. Its pretty cool I guess...its a lot bigger than I was expecting.

Just way too many awesome stuff this month...I wish I could watch all of these releases at once!

$30? I seriously doubt that happening anytime soon.

Perhaps some people actually want it right now and are more than willing to pay the price, ya think? I'm not poor, I can pay it without regrets or excuses.

OMG that looks super awesome, but it was so expensive...don't make me regret being cheap. What else can you tell us about the limited packaging??

Judging by the pictures of the standard packaging, the limited has different artwork for each "page" of the digipack. Same nasty disc holder slots though, I instantly hate these.

I highly doubt that. That Omen set that 20th Century Fox put out was still in the $60-80 range until only a few months ago and that is a far less lucrative franchise.

That seems a bit low. I'd be surprised if you get it for less than $59 for the next 6 months. I'm happy to pay $95. It's a great set and Fox deserves the love. If we don't vote with our money, we can't expect to get more sets like this in the future.
