    I actually like the last blu release cover art much better. This artwork is horrible.

    Totally. If this came with reversible artwork with the original poster on the other side, I wouldn't even flip it.

    It's not bad, my concern though is with the print, I want news, the last BD looked fucking horrible, I actually prefer to watch my DVD version, and have only kept the blue for the documentary, don't want to 9th & 10th time dip (favourite film!), unless it is worth doing so, if the deleted bum scene was found I'd buy in a heartbeat, but as this is only a 'new print', details are required before cash is exchanged!

    I love the new blu-ray artwork. Much better than the one sheet poster. Also better than the 2009 blu-ray release. The Japanese and Thailand poster artwork are the best for this title IMO.

    I didn't realise the cover on the current blu is more reminiscent of the original poster. I had it in my head it was this image:

    So yeah this new cover is definitely better than the current blu hands down.

    Yep, which turns out is the same blu cover here in Australia. It was also what they used for the dvd cover which I always saw at my local video store. I think it makes a good cover, plus it holds nostalgia for me and usually the image I picture when I think of the film.

    American Werewolf is one of my favorite films and I actually have over 30 different posters for the movie.

    Fantastic, it's my favourite movie too, I don't have any posters, but i nearly had a slaughter lamb pub sign which was going in the garden, my wife had found a company online that did them saved the link, came to order it me for Xmas, and the company had gone. Would have looked pretty cool!

    She has looked, but never found anywhere, we are in another house now and where it would suit/have a place to hang in the old garden, it's a different story in the new house.

    The only place I know that does a replica sign is Rabid Weasel Studios. Theyre posters though - not wooden signs.

    yeah, with no new supplements, I've decided to wait and see what the new transfer looks like. I'm very curious to read some reviews and see some comparisons, though....

    I'm not expecting much, sleeve says newly restored that's it, if it was a new 2k or 4k scan, they would be using it in the advertising, I bet it's just the old transfer cleaned up a bit, maybe DNR?

    The 'beware the moon' doc appears to be in HD foe this release which is good as it was SD on previous blu.
