Animal violence in Argento films

    It's not the fake animal violence that gets people offended.It's the real stuff,like that in some cannibal movies etc.Still if they USE animals in movies that's ok by me,just don't kill,maim or torture them.That's my opinion.

    That's one thing I'd never be able to watch. I'm glad I found out about this before I picked up the movie. :(

    Watched Trauma last week and the lizard isn't actually seen when he's being squashed..The little kid already has it in his hands while he squeezes.

    Animals represent the animal in man;all humans are in fact animals.
    Argento's first three films deal with that particular theme.

    I don't think I contradicted myself. My point was that he spends too much time reading into the films, and he's not even doing it properly. He's missing the major details and looking at the minor ones.
