Code Red mentioned on Twitter that they are getting rid of some overstock titles. You have to e-mail them for the info though. A lot of $4 and $5 titles, including Wild Malibu Weekend, Stanley, The Dead Pit, Being / Cop Killer, etc. Since they're overstock, quantities are probably limited.
i wonder if this is how its going to work? just shoot him an email, and thats how it goes? here's hoping. i sent him a list.
I ordered Stigma for $5 + shipping. Can't beat the price! Dead Pit and Running Hot were $4 I think. I would highly recommend those to anyone who doesn't already own them. Some of the titles I asked about (Redeemer, Messiah Of Evil, Vampire At Midnight) were all in the $10 - $15 range. I hope that will be the standard pricing for buying direct from Code Red. $10 - $15 isn't unreasonable. I hope Ghostkeeper is on the way.
Watched Silent Scream last night for the first time, well first time watching the CodeRed release, and thought they did an awesome job with it - looks great!
No, that's what I meant, Scorpion sorry. It came out during that confusing time where it was originally slated CodeRed, but Scorpion ended up with it.
$3 for 1 title, $5 for 2, not sure beyond that. I almost grabbed Riot On 42nd Street / Bad Girls Dormitory with it, but I'm trying to take it easy with my DVD spending lately.
thats pretty great, i hope its similar for shipping to canada. there are about 20 titles i'm missing, and at those prices, i would consider putting a serious dent in that. cant wait till he gets back to me regarding the titles i asked about.
I just got my direct order from Code Red today. I sent an email on Saturday asking about some OOP titles that I thought were long shots. Out of my list, Bill said he had a couple. I sent the amount he wanted via Paypal on Saturday and heard nothing else about it. No big deal, I thought, I'll just send a reminder email after a week has gone by. Well today I had a package in my mailbox with new and sealed versions of both films. So if you're interested in any Code Red title, even if it is long OOP, make sure to shoot Bill an email and ask about it. I had a great experience buying direct and would recommend it to anyone, and this is from someone who has never been the biggest CR supporter.
thats awesome news! i'm happy to hear it, since i dropped a fair chunk of change ordering all the titles he had available that i had yet to pick up. still missing a few titles that he said were sold out, which is a bummer. i'd like to avoid paying OOP ebay prices for them, so here's hoping Code Red sticks around a little longer after this....
How do you order direct from Code Red? The only links I found to buy a dvd on the Code Red site went to Amazon.
Which titles did you get if you don't mind me asking? I just placed an order for $100. Was just going to get the discount titles but ended up getting the more expensive but quality titles instead. Now I just need to find a copy of Nightmare for a decent price! If this is how he going to be selling his titles from now on I'm totally down with it. Bill was a good guy to deal with, and the shipping was less then what Amazon.com charges, not to mention the titles were cheaper.
I got my disc in the mail today. Pretty quick and painless. Hoping that Ghostkeeper will be released soon and be reasonably priced.
Emailed them about the overstocked titles and got a list. Only film I am interested in was The Dead Pit. Asked them twice about Primal Rage and never got an answer about it.
Bill sent me a list two days ago. The Dead Pit was on there, both the single($4) and double disc($6), but Primal Rage was not.
I thought I remember a few years ago Bill saying he was never going to deal with Best Buy again because they made him buy back a bunch of discs that didn't sell. Maybe that's what happened so he's got a lot left over....
