I picked up the Nightmare Blu at Diabolik.
The code red store is down for maintenance. Too many orders or are we getting new stuff?
Hopefully new stuff. I need me some Shakma:evil:
Bill mentioned something about some knee problems he was having and was taking a break for a while, so that's probably why.
Day one for me...outrageous film...so many LOL moments.
Fuck! I hate when Code Red gets distribution rights to a movie I want 'cause now I have to play his fuckin' "Guess when my store will be online and have copies available?" game. I really wish this guy would just get out of the business and leave this shit to people who know what they're doing and don't make their customers jump through flaming fucking hoops just to make a purchase.
Any bets on how long until we actually see a release? I say 2 years, minimum. He sits, sits, sits on stuff until we don't care anymore.
Well if Code Red uses the same transfer, as the Italian blu-ray, then skip it.
That transfer has a huge amount of that typical LVR scanner noise, and Edge enhancement.
I'd rather jump through hoops than not have these at all.
I'm just so sick and tired of this guy and his "I'm a one man operation" excuse. Then just get the fuck out of the business and let the people who have the ability and the means to distribute these films do so.
Oh nooooo! How can such a highly requested title end up with Code Red???
I am so sick of this loony business conduct.
Been waiting a couple of years for The Folks at Red Wolf Inn to be released by Code Red. It could be a long wait for House on the Edge of the Park to actually appear on Blu-Ray from Code Red. There is a trailer that is on alot of the Code Red DVD's for a movie called Family Honor, it has been years and the DVD of this has never materialized.
we'll never see family honor, its a ruse.
I agree with those annoyed by this news. If Code Red would make these more popular titles readily available and from other stores rather than bigcartel then awesome but as it is I find it crazy that people are still giving Bill these more known titles.
It shouldn't cost an arm and a leg or be a big ordeal for us fans to buy these films but for some reason this is become more prominent these days.
Diabolik or nothing , if they get it I'll order it in a few years when it becomes available....or not
In reverse it has the same effect like if Criterion would release Pulsebeat (1984)
I could be wrong but I'm guessing a problematic transfer might be the reason other companies didn't release it.
This seems more than likely :eek1:
I'm wondering about the transfers of the Milligan blu-rays (Bloodthirsty Butchers, Torture Dungeon, etc). There don't seem to be any online reviews for these anywhere. Does anyone have screencaps or info about the quality of these?
