This was a made-for-TV flick that premiered on Disney around Halloween of 1987 I believe. I dont know who starred in it, but it has never replayed since it debuted. They even fllowed it up with a sequel, Bride of Boogedey. Anyone know where I can find a copy of this. All I can remember about the flick is that he says "Boogedey, boogedey, boo!" and in the end is sucked up by a vacuum(?). Any help on this is GREATLY appreciated.

I remember this, though vaguely. I'd love to see it again. Let me know if you find it.

    I HAVE A COPY!!!!!!!

Yes I have a copy of both films my BRIDE OF BOOGEDY is better though. For more info email me @ webmaster1543@yahoo.com. Great movies, kinda corny but fun, BTW Kristy Swanson (the original Buffy) starred in the 1st one.

I still have MR. BOOGEDY on tape somewhere...

Don't forget that it starred both John Astin AND Benji Gregory (the kid from ALF).

Also available as a download purchase but not worth it. They always poor drm crap making it a pain in the ass to watch. Hope someone puts this on a torrent and removes the drm to replace the old version.

Hmmm I may end up renting this...

Maybe just buy at 10.00. Amazon streams to my TV so no concern on DRM.

If anyone buys 'em, post what the quality is like. If they're better than the crap that's out there, I'll buy them. Who knows when (or if) Disney will ever release a pressed disc release.

The DVD-R bootleg of the original I have pretty much sucks in quality, but I do have a much better .avi file of Bride of Boogedy...which even has the original TV commercials!

Dave, does it still look like a VHS transfer or a quality TV broadcast master? I can live with an old tape master being used...if it still looks good.

I would say it looks like a TV broadcast.

Pull it up on amazon and watch the trailer, which is just a clip from the movie.

Oh okay, cool! I looked at the listing earlier, but didn't even notice the trailer button somehow.

The trailers look damn good for both, definitely far superior to my DVD-R boots.

Set your DVRs, Turner Classic Movies will be airing Mr. Boogedy on the night of Wednesday, October 28th (technically Thursday morning) at 2AM.

Also, in case anyone missed it, Disney recently released a double-feature DVD of Mr. Boogedy and Bride Of Boogedy. The downside is that it's a fairly high-priced Disney Movie Club exclusive. :(
