I was just wondering if anyone likes this film...

    I love it

I think The Bat character is like an early Freddy Kruger....

    I really like this film....and I don't like alotta B&W films...

I can't get into many of the b&w films either, but I do love this one. I saw it once on amc or something then went out and bought it in like one of those classic scary movie sets. Very entertaining movie and kind of creepy.

Pretty entertaining lil horror film that is also very affordable. Have yet to see the original silent film version.

It is a pretty fun little film with Agnes and Darla(from the Little Rascals). It's got some Nancy Drew type fun and humor.

I saw the first half of this about 28 years ago on the CBS late movie...loved what I saw...but I was only about 10 and fell asleep before the end. Have always wanted to see the rest. I actually picked up the DVD used a few years back and will get to it eventually. I don't have much unwatched stuff left...so it will probably be fairly soon.

Saw it as a kid, remember enjoying it.It's at least the third version of that story, there was a silent film of it,also an early talkie. It was a stage play originally.

I have never seen the 59 version, but I have the old silent version. The silent has a bit of comedy in it and sort of ruins the movie as a thriller.
