Has anyone had any experience ordering with Unobstructed View? I ordered the Gamera set from them on the day of release but have yet to receive shipping confirmation and the set was listed as out of stock 2 days after. They did charge my card. I'm just worried that they oversold what stock they were allotted...

I ordered the Canadian exclusive of The Woman from them. Arrived ahead of the street date, but I'm maybe 3 hours from the border? Can't remember if they sent a shipping confirmation.

Yeah, I've ordered from them a few times and have had no issues, but everything I'd ordered was in-stock when I've ordered. I think their Gamera set was a pre-order even on release date yet and I know pre-orders or back-orders can take longer through them to fulfill as they have to await stock coming in before they can ship out so I imagine that's all it is. They are the only authorized/direct Arrow distributor in Canada so they wouldn't have oversold stock so they would have known their numbers for the sets, so you shouldn't have to worry.

I've never watched a single William Grefé movie, so maybe I'm more excited about that set than perhaps I should be. But... I love low-budget regional horror, and man-eating sharks, killer jellyfish, and evil native American medicine men sound like good time to me. I'm happy to see Arrow do some retro horror again, and it more than makes up for their dud of an October slate.

They posted a clip of restored Sting Of Death recently and it looks like a must-see, so I'm definitely intrigued by the Grefe set.

However, I didn't care much for his movie Stanley. It's nearly 2 hours long, which is way too long for that type of movie, and there were a lot of dull stretches.

I never realized he was a producer on Masterblaster. I have that on VHS and like it a lot.

Stanley is a glaring omission, and one I would have loved to see included, as I enjoy snake horror. Guess Bill isn't about to let go of the rights.

Silent Running is about the only one that has me excited in this round, and probably Crash.

I didn't care for Stanley either.

I can't really recall if I've seen Mako: The Jaws of Death before, but that's about the only one that intrigues me in the set.

If Masterblaster would have been included, that would have swayed me. But since he didn't direct it...

I’ve liked everything I’ve seen by William Grefe. Sting of Death is awesome in its badness, Mako is fun (spoiler alert: sharks play a very minor role. Not a Jaws ripoff), and if they can get Tartu to not look like mud then I’ll consider it well worth the $60.

I'm pretty sure all of the Code Red / Scorpion rights to Crown International Pictures titles expired a long time ago. I'm surprised Stanley's not part of Arrow's set, and I was surprised that Vinegar Syndrome hadn't picked it up, either. I'm really not sure what's going on with that particular title.

I'm disappointed that Impulse (starring William Shatner) and Stanley won't be included in the William Grefé collection. After watching the feature length documentary a few years ago (which is included in this Arrow set in an extended cut), Impulse looked like the most fun of all Grefé films. Shatner is in the documentary and has a great story to tell about a dangerous scene he did with Harold "Odd Job" Sakata in Impulse. I still plan to buy this, but wish these two horror titles were included.

Down for Tremors. Excited that classic is getting a remastered and extras newer than 1995 (everything available up till now has been a Laserdiscs port).

Damn, I didn't know that Tremors would get a UHD release as well.

I actually wouldn't mind grabbing this but checking the other day it was looking at about $70 AUD shipped. For one movie, that's pretty darn steep. Not sure what to do about this one atm.

Yeah, I'll probably wait for the standard edition instead.
Sure art cards and booklet is nice, but I only take a look at it ones, and never touch it again.

It will definitely get a standard release at some point.
