Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein 4K UHD (1994) Coming in March 29th, 2022. https://highdefdiscnews.com/2021/12/17/1994-film-mary-shelleys-frankenstein-on-4k-in-march/ I'm a Frankenstein fanatic but even still I'm lukewarm on this adaptation but I'm intrigued by the extras. Then Edison's Frankenstein is what really sold me as I watch it every October on Frankenstein Friday.
It seemed like Arrow's limited edition Robocop blu-ray came out recently but when I checked it's already been over two years.
I'm not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but the Arrow "Video Nasty Edition" Arrow store exclusive of Don't Go in the House will have a bonus 3rd disc not included on their standard retail edition: So yeah, I'm definitely going with that over the Severin release... who knows what they'd screw up. I went ahead and pre-ordered that + the "Creepers" Arrow UK store exclusive of the "Phenomena" 4K release. That variant does look really sweet the more I looked at the product images. I was just going to get the Synapse 4K release of Phenomena, but then I realized the Dario Argento's World of Horror documentary is only on the old Synapse SteelBook Blu-ray release, but was not on the old Arrow UK Blu-ray set. So I'll just get the "Creepers" UK 4K exclusive, and get rid of the old Arrow UK Blu-ray set.
This probably means that eventually every film they did with a 4K scan in the past will get an UHD release, which i'm fine with as it saves me a lot of money!
I find it pretty dodgy that they're just using the same art now for some of these 4k re-releases. The Argento ones at least have new art. Just feels lazy.

Amazon has the Cat O'Nine Tails limited UHD release for $25.50. That is a pretty good price if anyone was on the fence. https://www.amazon.com/The-Cat-o-Ni...35-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER
The Dune limited edition on blu ray has become almost impossible to find. I waited patiently for it to come to my local Bull Moose store and it never did. It finally appeared but only the regular edition. By that time I really had my heart set on the limited edition so I checked on line only to find that it wasn’t available anywhere in America. The only place I found some still available is the UK Zavvi site so I snagged one (for the same price as the regular edition at bull moose, btw). Hopefully they really have it in stock!
Amazon UK have this in stock currently and on offer: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dune-UHD-L...1_6?keywords=Dune&qid=1641663270&s=dvd&sr=1-6
That's cool, but it isn't what I wanted. The 4K edition is actually a lot easier to come across. I could have gotten that used for less than $30 a few week ago.

Why Arrow decided not to go with the original aspect ratio? No clue. Arrow lists on their back cover and also in the booklet that it's a 4K scan from the original camera negative, but "produced and supplied by Shout! Factory" Shout listed it as being a 2K scan from the original camera negative on the back cover of their older Blu-ray... Here is also a new review: http://www.dvdcompare.net/review.php?rid=6866 The Arrow booklet is 36-pages if anyone was wondering.
Just got my UK Dune disc in and I can verify that it isn't locked to Region B. Why would it be when it was released simultaneously in the US? Just in case anybody was wondering because I couldn't find that info anywhere.
That's pretty much the default with all Arrow releases that are dual US/UK territory releases. They are either fully region free, or dual locked to both A and B regions. It's always the same exact disc content, same exact disc ID's, etc.
That’s what I figured. It only makes sense because why press two virtually identical releases just for region coding if you have licenses for both places? But still, confirmation is always appreciated.
I think the UK releases often have different "UK" rating logos on the disc label, but that's really the sole difference with Arrow's dual territory releases.
For those who missed the Limited Edition of Phantom Of The Mall, a standard edition including only the first disc will be available on March 29th. Also, April announcements will be revealed this Friday.
I skipped this one...with the name, and knowing it's got pauly shore in it...it seemed pretty silly. But now I'm wondering if I may have been mistaken. Do people like this one? Is it a spoof, or an actual horror film?
