After months of wondering when the new Anchor Bay crop would be added to dvdpricesearch's database, I emailed them inquiring if they would add these titles to their list. I just checked, and am very happy to report that Scars of Dracula, Blood From the Mummy's Tomb, and Horror of Frankenstein are all now in the www.dvdpricesearch.com database, as are the All-Day dvds, Horror of Hammer and Tales of Frankenstein. 800.com has the ABs cheapest at 14.95, but then they charge shipping. Maybe we could twist their arms to match Barnes and Noble's policy of free shipping when buying two or more titles.

The new 3 NOT available at DeepDiscountDVD

I also just emailed DeepDiscountDVD, asking them if they would make the new AB titles available for pre-order. If they could come close to 800.coms price, I would be very happy indeed, as they don't charge shipping. I'll let y'all know what the word is when I hear back from them.

The new 3 AVAILABLE at DeepDiscountDVD!!

C'mon people! What, I'm talkin' to the wind here?

Well, for any Hammer fans out there, you can thank me for getting Deep Discount DVD to put the next three Anchor Bay Hammers up for pre-order. I emailed them asking why they didn't have 'em, they emailed back saying they'd look into it, and VOILA! they now have them up for pre-order at 14.99 each, and that includes FREE SHIPPING people! YAYYY! Try to beat that. ;)

Off to the bargains section now to spread the word,
    Peace

    :D

Heeeeeeeeeey.. Thats a nice looking box.. :) It does look like 4 DVDs too. Maybe theres an extra DVD full of documentaries and stuff? Probably not.. :) Unfortunately I prettu much buy all my DVDs from DVD Empire now and they don't have it for pre-order.. (I wanted to have all of this stuff, MGM and Universal DVDs, shipped together the week of the 28th). Ohwell.. Thats a pretty good price. :)

I had to order both Carl. "Visa; it's everywhere you want it to be..." and it's fuckin' EVIL too!!

Anyway, I emailed DeepDiscountDVD last night/this morning about offering the Hammer House of Horror box-set, and the All Day dvds. I got a positive email back today from their cust. serv. dept. saying they would send the request to the purchasing department. Everything else I've asked for so far was pretty much immediately offered, but I think it's just that the purchasing dept. is probably off during the weekend. Look for it about mid-week. I bet they get it, as they obviously have a great relationship with A&E. The All Day dvds might be another story, but we'll see.

    Keep your fingers crossed! :D
