Watched the uncut last night, and while the presentation mahy not be perfect, i loved the film!!!!

Also the doc is real good, although the conclusion gets a little, uh, goofy...

In summation Im glad I own this! Cant wait to watch it again!

I also think it's supposed to be 2.35:1, not 1.85:1. At least according to IMDb, stating it was filmed in Techniscope. Scope was afterall Fulci's preferred format throughout the '70s.

This seems to be an isolated incident, but just a heads up that the copy I ordered from Amazon was missing disc two.

After all the controversy on this title, I can honestly say this is a welcome addition to my Fulci DVD collection!
First I watched the widescreen "cut" version, which looks better than any version I've seen yet. Sure it's missing some vital gore, but plays fine as a giallo. right after it ended I put in disc 2 and watched the uncut scenes. The "dogs" scene is great, but let's be honest, not exactly realistic or frightening.
So like everyone else, I still wish for a complete, uncut, widescreen version of the film someday, but for now I am very happy with this special edition DVD. Thanks Shriek Show.

BTW I ordered my copy from Amazon and got both discs.
