Cool. I like visiting Hours. In fact just about anything with Michael Ironside in it gets my nod of approval. Will pick this up.

I already have this on pre-order from Amazon. I love these old Anchor Bay discs that Shout! are releasing as double features. As far as the movies go, I greatly prefer Bad Dreams to Visiting Hours.

I just saw VISITING HOURS in the theater recently, the studio hadn't had a 35mm print of it for years.A guy finally located one in the vaults. It looked quite good overall, just a faint pink hue in a couple of reels, not too bad at all, otherwise it was very clean. It saddens me that movies made as recently as the 80's can still virtually disaspear in 35mm form. There's still a lot of work to be done in film preservation, especially with these little ''exploitation" pictures.
Glad VISITING HOURS is coming back to disc,it's a fun film.

I could be way wrong, but didn't these films get released on the same day last time? I'm talking about the first individual releases to dvd the same day. Not comparing the old date to this double feature release day.

Yeah, you've got a good memory. The Anchor Bay dvds both had a street date of 4/18/06. :)

Got this in the mail from Amazon yesterday. It looks great and even has some new interviews on the Bad Dreams disc.

Man, what the hell? up until I think it was the Action Packed Collection (the one with Georgia Peaches, etc), most HMV stores i went into had carried every single shout factory release, or at least all their multi-feature sets. Then all of a sudden fighting mad/moving violation is nowhere to be found. then streetwalkin', then the women behind bars blu ray, and the deathstalker quadruple feature set, and now this one. and i had to search all over the place to find a copy of battle beyond the stars. what happened? i was really impressed that they were carrying all these great titles, and now nothing. or next to nothing. not to mention the prices seem to be on the rise. i bought the first slew of dvds for 12.99, on day one, and all the blu rays were 19.99. Now only the hmv at yonge/dundas is carrying any of them, and the prices have risen to 19.99 and 34.99! seriously disappointed.

Nice! I have it on order due to arrive any day now. I do already have the old discs of Bad Dreams and Visiting Hours, but this one is cheap enough to double dip...

Apart from this double feature I never got around to buy the original Anchor Bay releases. But since yesterday, a friend of mine gave me his original release of Bad Dreams because he bought this double feature. :D

 I would have just kept it. I think it has the DVD-ROM Screenplay that's not included on the new DVD.
