Opens nationwide in theaters on Friday, even though I've seen zero promotion for it. Looks a bit like Don't Breathe.

Looks theater worthy...... especially with the R rating. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts if anyone catches this weekend....

I loved this! It's ridiculous and it's nothing you haven't seen before, but it's just plain fun! I even jumped. It's exactly what it looks like, so if you dug the trailer, definitely go out and see it!

Two of the lead characters are thieves, which alone is a major strike against them, but unlike movies like Don't Breathe or Attack The Block where you just want them to be offed horrifically, they actually win you over and had me rooting for them.

The movie is sort of book-ended by big horror/thriller sequences, but the middle chunk is more like Unlawful Entry or Pacific Heights where this psychopath sets out to destroy the main character's life. As for the finale, there's a line near the end that's bound to get a big cheer from the audience (I wouldn't know because my theater was completely empty, but the line put a gigantic smile on my face).

Portland is not exactly my favorite city, but the city is used extremely well here and creates a really great atmosphere for the movie. It almost made me want to go back.

Even though technology places this movie firmly in the now, it reminded me a lot of one of those super fun theatrical thrillers from the '90s. It's a formula movie for sure, but who cares as long as it's done well and is fun!

Found this to be rather tedious. Unfortunately this didn't offer anything I haven't seen numerous times before. Kind of felt like a TV episode where the villain is able to fool the police with his charm while causing all kinds of chaos in the life of his target. Pretty predictable down to the sugar coated ending.

For anyone who missed this theatrically or on disc, it's now available on Amazon Prime streaming.

Check it out, it's good fun!

Finally caught this over the weekend. I'm glad I didn't blind buy the disc...... It was OK. It was fun enough but overall pretty generic. Violence was relatively tame...... I had a few laughs at the lengths this guy went to ruin the life of the protagonist. Check it out on prime, worth 2 hours of your time with low expectations.

Has a great setup and a Tennant is fantastic as a villain but the film has some missteps in the second half - too long, attempts to give Tennant a backstory (including some nonsense with horses). Still worth a watch.
