    Yep Jimbo,it's coming!:D
I found it on Fangoria's Chopping list.
It's a future listing so who knows, but at least we know they're working on it.

I have seen this film and it's not the best Steele film out there.
Hell it's not really a good film at all.But I have a DVDr (thanks again Jimbo) which could even be cut.

Still I enjoyed it and I know I'll get it when it arrives.
Now here's hoping Dark Sky will release Long Hair of Death too. They could use the French print,ya know :D.

Here's hoping they'll release anything at all. I like these guys, but they're starting become more and more like Media Blasters with each release week.

If you're gonna announce a title, it's rather nice to eventually release it too. Just a thought.

Hmmm...Prayer Beads and Franco's Count Dracula shipped on their respected date, and there's no signs that Naked You Die won't ship at the end of the month as stated. The only other titles they have exact dates for on their site are the 3 discs that ship at the end of June.

You know - BU and No Shame have NOTHING new coming out and AB, Media Blasters etc have very little. I support any company making the effort in a tough market where other companies are closing up shop. I could care less about street dates as long as I get a company willing to put out a legit DVD of WHO CAN KILL A CHILD (one of my favs). It doesn't matter when, as long as I get my DVD and Dark Sky is one of the few still releasing good stuff consistently.

I look forward to this one.Nice to see that Steele actually sat in for a comm. track. It's also nice that Reeves first feature may finally be getting a worthwhile release.

I don't see any indication this is coming out from Dark Sky's own website.

Nice, I just watched this as part of a recent "Steele-fest" I had...basically catching on all her films I had not already seen (Long Hair of Death, Terror Creatures, etc). I was not expecting much from this, mainly because of her small role...but did enjoy the movie.

I've always liked this film, even though it is often panned by some viewers. Unfortunately, I have only seen the Alpha disc which is a sorely lacking print.

I've never had the chance to see this film. I really liked Reeve's Witchfinder General. If it has Barbara Steele, I will buy a copy. Anybody know if Reeve's The Sorcerers has ever gotten a R1 release?

    Nice find CP!

Lets hope they have found a decent print to use. I am sure you have already caught wind of Nightmare Castle from Severin?

    Taken from www.dvddrive-in.com
Gothic horror fans will be delighted to know that Severin Films will be giving the first official DVD release to the 1965 Barbara Steele chiller NIGHTMARE CASTLE/THE FACELESS MONSTER (original title: Amanti d’oltretomba, or “Lovers Beyond The Tomb”). The original negative has recently been discovered in a Rome storage vault and apparently in good condition. Severin will be doing a new HD transfer in its original aspect ratio, so all those super cheap bootleg DVDs taken from 10th generation TV prints can now be discarded forever. The film was directed by Mario Caiano, and Severin recently shot a great interview with the 75 year old master at his home just outside of Rome. NIGHTMARE CASTLE also showcases the very first horror score by the legendary Ennio Morricone, and the beautiful black & white cinematography comes courtesy of Enzo Barboni. This uncut, uncensored and unsung hit of Italian horror history will have a DVD street date to be announced in the near future.
