Easily Leatherface for me, and I still don't think we've seen the real uncut version of that film...TCM2 is ok, but Hopper's cheese factor runs far too rampant throughout for me.

Not even close, TCM 2 is so underrated.

Wow... I can't imagine anyone could find 5 seconds of Leatherface anywhere near as entertaining as the opening to TCM 2.

Yeah, I'm still disappointed by TCM 2. But, Leatherface is one lousy damn sequel.

I definitely prefer Leatherface better. I really like the swamp setting, the new Chainsaw and enjoy the character's more than in 2.

Gotta go with #2. I liked both, but #2 is a far superior story.

Leatherface is definitely an unusual sequel but I didn't find anything inside of it. It was completely hollow. Like a barrel of monkeys with no monkeys. People said things. People died (and the MPAA cut it all out). Lots more people said lots more things. The pace never picked up.

I'll admit there's not much to complain about. But I can't think of a single compliment to pay it other than: it's not as bad as [Fill in the Blank].

I actually liked the direction that they took with the Leatherface character. If they would have only explored how much more severely mentally ill that Leatherface was, or stunted, if you will, it would have made for a much more interesting movie. I agree on it being hollow. The MPAA cut the fucker to the barest minimum. We will probably never truly know what this film could have been.

Okay, I do remember (come to think of it): I did like the scene where he played with the Spelling Toy. If only the movie had done a better job of making him the focus instead of making every other member of the family more important. Including the little girl with the corpse-doll, who was a real nowhere for this movie.

And didn't they also make him wear more brown? Not a good color on Leatherface. By contrast, I actually liked the red shirt "he" wore in the last movie they made.
