I chose JAWS the Revenge if only for the wonderful cinematography.

Jaws 4 is something I can laugh at. The utter lameness of Exorcist II just made me want to cry.

Both movies suck, but Jaws: The Revenge is hilarious trash! How can you go wrong with Michael Caine slumming it as a character named "Hoagie." Apparently in his autobiography, he said the only reason he took the part was for a free vacation to Bermuda. The shark roars near the end, how ludicrous is that?

Wow, Exorcist II: The Heretic takes this one for me VERY easily. I know I'm in a very small minority, but I love that damn movie, flaws and all. The soundtrack is a favorite of mine of that era and it has one of the best machines ever... the Synchronizer! Seriously, how cool would it be to own a machine just like that one, but without the risk of course. Not to mention it does have some gorgeous shots and an ending that somehow (don't ask because I don't know how either) figured into my nightmares as a young kid. Jaws 4 could never hope to be in the same league as far as I'm concerned.

Well...as much as I disliked Jaws 4, it still has a shark in it and I did enjoy reading the book as a young lad so it gets my vote.

I agree. Even if the movie is lame, the fact that it centers around a shark will always score points with me.

Well said! I enjoy the movie too. Sure it's not a perfect movie by any means, and couldn't hope to live up to the original, but I really don't understand the hate for it.

Jaws 4 has Ellen Brody, so I'll vote for it.

For being the bad movie everyone claims, The Heretic is quite a fucking entertaining film.

Jaws: The Revenge is lukewarm at its best moments. Its premise is 1billionx more ludicrous than Heretic. And that sinks a great deal of moments from being fun at all.

Heretic wins. If you voted for Revenge, you have some damn weird nostalgia. Sorry but it's true. Did you live and breathe only Jimmy Buffett and the Cocktail soundtrack for an entire year?
