Vincent Price and hard experimental drugs - you can't go wrong with The Tingler!

Gee Hellbilly. You're really arn't being nice with some of these

The Blob for me. Although Price on LSD is a fun trip.

The Tingler. You just can't beat Vincent Price. I saw this on the big screen recently and it was even more fun than I remembered! :)

The Tingler being the way underseen/underated film.I love The Blob don't get me wrong but as a film Tingler gets my vote.

The Blob is fun,but The Tingler is just twisted ! A parasite that feeds on fear, that's Cronenberg stuff(I tend to hate remakes, but if it MUST be remade someday,I hope it's Cronenberg that gets it),and it's just crazy, whacked out stuff. It gets my vote.

Everyone's pretty much said everything I'd say about The Tingler. That was my vote. :D

Even though Vincent Price has an actual LSD trip in The Tingler, The Blob is the trippier film. No question about that.

But I went with The Tingler. It's just held up better than The Blob, which halts the "action" and suspense for long periods of time while nothing happens. Killer Klowns from Outer Space did a much better job with this structure, of the "2 people who saw it happen" having to convince the cops. Though I also believe The Blob did a better job of this than Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives.

I grew up with THE BLOB as a kid. My Mom recommended it when it came on one weekend afternoon; I kept my eye out for it, and watched it every time it came on from then on. THE TINGLER is pretty terrific too, but it barely loses out to Nostalgia.

    So did I.

(But it's still on the slower side with not much to fill the gaps.)

The Blob. It was the one film that scared the living shit of me when I was around 6 years old. Still love it today, but even now, I am apprehensive when I watch it. Bad but fun memories all the same.
