Martin, BY FAR. No contest. It's my favorite vampire film next to Herzog's Nosferatu. I didn't like Jessica much at all, which was disappointing considering all of the praise it has received on this board.

Let's Scare Jessica To Death is one of my favorite horror movies and has been for ages, so duh, I went with that one. Martin is very good too, but I didn't see it until just recently, so the love hasn't had time to evolve. Plus, as good as the movie is, the lead guy does occasionally bug, and not in a scary way, but in a "I am going to bitch slap him into next week" kind of way.

I always thought Martin was a bit overrated. Still a good movie but not one of my faves. Jessica has always been a huge fave of mine though, so I just had to vote for her.

Jessica by a wide margin. I find Martin to be kind of a bore, and one of Romero's lesser films.

Voted Martin, one of my favorite Romero offerings.

Wow this one is tough I love both films. I'm going to go with the underdog Jessica though.

HellBilly, Is that the cover for the new Let's Scare Jessica To Death DVD? That looks great if it is.

Voted Martin, as it's a fantastic film, and Romero's masterpiece IMO (not a huge Romero fan, outside of this, Creepshow, and the original NOTLD). Let's Scare Jessica to Death is a great flick as well, but Martin edges it out due to being a bit more deep and thought-provoking.

Amazing cover art for a movie I felt was kind of a letdown.

    Went with Martin.

A ridiculously tough decision. Both are masterpieces of the methodic, subtle breed of horror. That said, while Martin is Romero's best film, I had to go with Let's Scare Jessica to Death. My vote could differ on any given day though.

I do enjoy both films, but I'll have to go with Let's Scare Jessica to Death by a very slim margin.

Wow, this poll hurts! Two movies quite distinctly of the seventies, both movies I love a lot. I've gone with Let's Scare Jessica To Death, though. :D

  18. Wish I could go back and go with Jessica...it's too LATE...TOO LATE.

Glad you finally watched it again Luna, now we can discuss.

Jessica - Been waiting for this DVD since before I started shaving! I consider it one of the finest "creeping me out" movies ever!
