Really tough one I love both, but I have to give it to Eraserhead.

I went with Possession, mainly because of the presence of Adjani. I have never really been able to decide if I like Eraserhead or not. It's certainly well made, but it doesn't do much for me on an emotional level.

POSSESSION, without even a moment's thought. ERASERHEAD is interesting enough but it isn't nearly as affecting, IMO.

I've never seen Possession and Eraserhead confuses my tiny brain. No vote.

Eraserhead gets my vote, solely on being such a defining film in its genre, and also one of the best surreal films ever made. Not to mention it's directed by one of the best (IMO, THE best) directors of our era. But Possession is an underrated classic, no doubt.

Eraserhead. David Lynch is one of my absolute favorite directors.

Barton Fink's hair must have been inspired by this film.

I think Eraserhead actually kinda made sense. Everything about it seemed to fit within the context of a place, time, and fear / preoccupation. Possession? Forget about it.

    Eraserhead gets my vote.
