Very cool, Jeremy! Love the poster. Can't wait to watch this one.
I hope that poster makes it onto the DVD cover.
I can't even remember the last time Jeremy gave out an A review, I think I should handle this one...for his sake!
That is awesome Dude!! Can't wait to see it! Movies like this with crazy animals scares the hell out of me and I love it! Monkeys in general are freaky so a gorilla is more scary to me! Is the gorilla going to be an 'actor', digital or a human in a gorilla suit? Just curious I hope there will be additional features of how the movie is done too. I love that in a movie when it comes out on disc and I can see the creation of the monster or commentaries from performer about making the movie.
Definitely an ape suit. There are extremely high quality gorilla suits floating around Hollywood right now, including the one that appeared in the recent OLD DOGS. That was one of the reasons why UNCAGED was chosen over several other projects that we proposed, because we didn't need to pay anyone to build and design a monster costume or create a CGI creature.
And yes, we do plan on creating some special features for the home video release!
That's FANTASTIC!!! Now it's even more difficult to wait! But Thanks for sharing so we know what to expect
Awesome! Can't wait to see this and definitely have to own the DVD! I love when good things happen to good people.
So when is this coming out exactly?
Well, without going into too too much detail, the project is still alive and well and very much ready to go before the cameras. We've revamped the script so that it now takes place in Panama (as Puerto Rico is very likely going to be the shooting location) and have done quite a bit of work preparing for it to go into production. The hold-up is that the producers have had another film in development simultaneously, a crime thriller based on the inside-the-mafia expose JOE DOGS: THE LIFE AND CRIMES OF A MOBSTER. The idea is to shoot both films back to back in Puerto Rico (as JOE DOGS takes place mostly in south Florida) and take advantage of the generous tax incentives there for motion picture production. JOE DOGS is a little bit of a bigger project though, and it's been taking longer to pull the pieces in place, but I'm told we're getting close.
Updates, Jeremy! Updates!
Wake me up when Uncaged arrives... :sleepy:
