What is your favorite bad movie? Vote!
Troll 2 (1990)
Wow. Quite a few of my favorites made the list, and I was tempted to add a few but that whole, "What Do You Mean By "Bad?" questions comes around so I just picked the one that gets the most play in my house, SHOWGIRLS. I will never, ever tire of it. Ever.
So your hands aren't hurting yet? :spit:
Blood Feast followed by Howling II.
I've got to go with the classic - Plan 9 from Outer Space - this was the first time I stayed up late laughing at a movie for its ineptitude, and I had often stayed up late watching bad movies - just never enjoying them quite this much!
I just watched Maniac (1934) last night. Everything about it was terrible, yet it still held my interest. It's not everyday that you see nudity, feline eye removal, syringe death fights, or any other number of exploitation elements from 30's cinema.
Troll 2 hands down.
Showgirls for sure. There is never a time when I am not in a mood to enjoy that one. It's just bad on so many levels, and the rewatchability is off the charts.
The Wicker Man (2006) and Glen or Glenda are the runner ups.
:joshua: Nilbog is goblin spelt backwards! :troll:
Howard the Duck! I use to love that movie when i was a kid.....though Howling 2 gets way more views out of me.
I heart Sybil Danning & Babel
OMG - How to choose when there is so many???
I picked SHOWGIRLS but was torn between XANADU and MOMMIE DEAREST.
And in the "Other" category: EXORCIST II, THE APPLE, BODY ROCK, SUPERGIRL, THE SWARM, GREASE 2, A NIGHT IN HEAVEN, VALLEY OF THE DOLLS, BODY OF EVIDENCE, THE PIT, FRIDAY THE 13TH PART V, ROLLER BOOGIE, PIRATE MOVIE, CAPTIVITY...the list could go on for days.
Masturbate spelled backwards is Showgirls
errrr or close enough aye? :hum:
Plan 9 From outer Space of course!
Riki-Oh: The Story or Ricky is, hands-down for me, the greatest bad film ever made. It's epic in every respect.
Troll 2. No question.
And, Mommie Dearest doesn't belong on that list. It's not a bad movie. I don't think it's a masterpiece, but the unintentional laughter comes from people who are especially keen to campy cinema. I promise you that most serious fans of Faye Dunaway and Joan Crawford didn't find the movie all that funny. The assumption that it's a bad movie is one arrived at by taking the thing so far out of context that the majority refuse to try to see the filmmaking intentions.
Basket Case comes to mind so I voted other.
Best Bad Movie is Troll 2.
Why stop at Leonard Part 6... no love for Ghost Dad?
