Good idea. If someone with Bruce Campbell in their avatar by the name of twobytwo came in and started voting for Sissy, you guys wouldn't think it was me would you??
Well, I hate to do this, but we certainly can't have a tie...so my vote, and therefore the winning vote, for the Best Horror Performance is for none other than... Sissy Spacek Congratulations Ms. White, it was definitely a worthy performance! Thanks to everyone for contributing and keeping this tournament afloat. Now lets all go and participate in Ryan's upcoming directors tournament!
Oh my GOD!!! I think I'm gonna cry! Out of happiness, of course! I'm so happy that the main character from my all-time favorite movie has won the tournament! Sissy is one of my favorite actresses, and her performance (along with Piper Laurie's) is also my favorite out of any film... it is one of themany things that make the film so enjoyable!! Oh yes, the director's tournament should also be an exciting one! But before we can begin, we must have plenty of directors to vote for! I'll be away this weekend, but keep posting suggestions, and I'll add them to the list when I get back! Then we can get started!!
Yaaaaahhh!!! Sissy is the best Actress is the Greatest Movie ever !! "their all gonna lauph at you"
That was aclose call, Carrie is one of my favourite nostalgia titles so its nice tosee Spacek get this prize. Also thanks to Rhett for a cool tournament - even though I hated it when Adrienne Barbou“s performances disapperad a little to early...
Yeah this tournament was cool. It's the only one I've ever participated in and I've never gotten so many emails in my inbox in such a short period of time!
in my opinion Mia should have won hands down. But Carrie was a good enough performance. So, oh well... Thanks Rhett for the sweet ass tournament. Let's have another one soon.
Carrie White ALWAYS wins any kind of election. Sounds like Chris Hargensen called in a few favors again. I would have been happy had Mia won as well. I really do think we came down to the best two female horror performances of all time, and that the voting was so close, proves we all have some pretty good taste.
