    I'm going with Candyman for its deft juggling of real and supernatural horrors, Virginia Madsen's great lead performance, Glass's exquisite score, and its most-welcome focus on adult characters.

    I voted for Scream? It's still in the top 5 for sure, but I've always thought Silence of the Lambs is superior.
