I figured Land and Rejects would (rightfully) get most of the votes, so I voted for Constantine. That movie freaking rocked, AND it made me LIKE a Keanu Reeves performance. :eek1: I mean other than Constantine, the original Matrix, Speed, and Sam Raimi's underappreciated gem The Gift, Keanu is more wooden than a log cabin. To be fair though that worked for the Bill & Ted films. "Wild Stallions!" (plays air guitar)

So far the best one I've seen so far this year would be: --------------------------

...okay, that's not true, I just wanted to be the one that voted for each of those movies...
Land of the Dead, hands down, is the best this year, IMO.

Mario, that is the scariest avatar ever....

I didn't vote for any of them. I haven't seen HOUSE OF WAX or DEVIL'S REJECTS yet, but I hope they are better than most of the shit that's come out. Thank god for all of the great DVD releases this year, because there hasn't been much in the theatres to get happy about. But that's just me. I know there will be plenty of people on here who have enjoyed the horror offerings this year.

THE DEVIL'S REJECTS by a long way....second place goes to SKELETON KEY--that movie has stayed with me quite a bit, then again, it just came out.

LAND OF THE DEAD is third--I liked it better than I thought I would, and will get the DVD, but it definitely gave me the "is that it?" feeling. Still, a good movie.

Didn't see HAUTE TENSION, but BOOGEYMAN, CURSED, WHITE NOISE, and DARK WATER were all lousy.

I would have to vote for "High Tension" even though Lions Gate really did a hatchet job on it for it's American theatrical release. Everyone will really come to appreciate this film more when the Uncut Version hits video stores. :fire:

I suspect that I am one of the only people here that really, really disliked "The Devil's Rejects."

I've read good commentaries regarding The Devil's Rejects but it hasn't been projected here yet so ...

Land of The Dead was 2nd. Constantine was okay, Prequel to The Exorcist was pretty lame.
