Deadly Eyes. I love how the rats are cute little Dachshunds in disguise. That and the cheesiness make the movie for me.

Although I have seen every film on the list at one point or another, I gotta go with The Rats. It was a made-for-TV movie, yet the DVD includes an uncut version with brief nudity intact. I really enjoyed the story, characters and locations in this one. And the special effects were actually quite good for a TV flick, even looking better than many theatrical films. It seemed like they used real live rats whenever possible.

Deadly Eyes would probably be my second choice. It also had a really cool theatrical poster from what I recall.

I tried to list all of the movies that are plot driven with Killer Rats...but 12 were all I could think of. So there is the obvious Other option!

None of them will ever beat Rats: Night of Terror and its awesome ending. :p

I picked other for FOOD OF THE GODS. It's weird that you listed the sequel but forgot about the first!

Of Unknown Origin would have been my pick.

Same here. With all the cheesy effects, Food of the Gods gets my vote.

There's an episode of The Avengers, where Steed is and I believe Miss Peel are chased by back-projected rat. Excellent stuff. I'm going with that.

I actually haven't seen any killer rat movies so I'll have to say the closest and greatest thing I've seen relevent to this would be in Inferno.

I voted for Willard. I did however watch "The Rats" a few weeks ago, and the part (I think I am remembering it correctly) where they either put on glasses or shine some sort of light on the department store and you can see rat feces all over everything! That part grossed me out so bad. And to make things worse, a couple days after that, my friend had a mouse in his house, set a trap for it.While I was hanging out, the trap went off. I was too afraid to look, but apparantly the trap had caught the mouse, made his little brain fall out of his head and it was lying in a pool of his own blood! Then the very next day(I am serious) I was pulling out of my driveway and in the alley in front of my house there was a fucking rat/mouse thing that must have been 8 inches long not counting the tail. He was dead, but it was so disgusting to think that that creature lived somewhere nearby my house. Sorry, but I just thought I would share that today.

The only movie I've seen on this list is Willard (2003). Crispin Glover is da man, but I'm not going to vote until I've seen more of these. So chances are I'll never vote. :)
