    IT's still a big favorite of mine and scared the living hell out of me in junior high when it debuted on network tv around '90.

    Well, what do you know. That supposedly twenty-years-out-of-print, impossible-to-find Shatner movie is now actually residing in a certain newsgroup... :eek:

    Of course, I must simply disagree. If that were true I don't think it would be in lead place in this poll. It may just be the age at which I first saw the movie (6), but Salem's Lot is very well burned into my memory. When IT premiered on television I was 12 or 13 and by that time I had become pretty jaded when it came to horror. I like IT, but it's nothing I need to own.

    edit: Actually, checking imdb just now, I was 15 when IT aired, not 12 or 13.

    The main impression I had about IT was that the second half was such a letdown compared to the first, which was great.

    BTW, MR. FROST was a theatrical release.
