I went with ALONE IN THE DARK...hey, it has two Oscar winning actors in it!
Seriously, I rewatched it a year or so ago and thought it had held up really well--great story, and also the fun New Wave music.

HELL NIGHT for me. I loves me a good chase scene between the last girl and the killer. Plus, this film has sort of a Hammer/Amicus look to it what with the costumes the characters wear and the setting. :)

  4. Almost went with Maniac but I just loved the costume in The Prowler so much it became my obvious choice. My Bloody Valentine had a kick ass costume as well.

I had to go with MADMAN. The cinematography is very professional, the characters are memorable (TP!) and Madman Marz is one brutal character. The campfire story idea really gives the film a mythical sort of quality, it just seems larger than life to me. There is still a ton of movies on that list that I love though, so were it not for MADMAN it could have been 10 different ones!

I am a huge slasher fan and have yet to see Madman. Having the disc go OOP about a month before I tried to seek it out didn't help matters much either. Someday.

You haven't lived until you've seen the infamous TP hot tub scene.

Its not very good IMO, although the car hood scene is class.
