Exceptional actor, he will really be missed. I thought Bill Paxton was great in A Simple Plan. So many memorable films. Too many to list here.

    Bloody-Disgusting shared this earlier today:

Lance Henriksen just shared this incredible behind the scenes shot from Near Dark. Only two actors to be killed by an Alien, a Predator, and Terminator! #BillPaxton

Definitely a bummer. Liked lots of his movies. One that I had missed that has become a favorite of mine is The Vagrant. Really looking forward to getting that on Blu. He will definitely be missed.

This one upset me, he was a great actor and apparently very well loved. He was one of those guys who was in so MANY hits that you tended to forget the long list of favorites he appeared in, really impressive ! I'll give a shout out to a little picture called ONE FALSE MOVE, a critical favorite that a lot of people haven't seen. Prime Paxton. Check out his directorial effort FRAILTY too, which he directed, a clever horror tinged sleeper. Rest In Peace.

I am still in shock. Bill Paxton was a wonderful actor and one of my faves. Jesus, only 61. How terribly sad. Way to young to pass. You will always be in my thoughts Mr. Paxton. RIP.

Too many movies to name. But Frailty is one of the most criminally underrated flicks ever. And Club Dread is one of my all time favorites. RIP Coconut Pete.

Maybe in his honor they could release Trespass on Blu-Ray.

Twister was the blockbuster of all blockbusters back in 96. If you showed up to school at my junior high after this came out, and DIDN'T see Twister, you were instantly relinquished to the Re-Re table at lunch till you smartened up and saw it. LOL

It's pretty cool weather nerds 20 years later still paying respect to Bill Harding.

Im on vacation without regular net access and just heard about this last night. Horrible news. So young. Such a great actor. Still killing great parts like the one in Edge of Tomorrow. He's already terribly missed. RIP.

They posted a slate with a little tribute to Paxton ahead of the latest episode of TRAINING DAY last Thursday night, although I don't think the shows CBS web page mentions his passing. I always find it a bit odd watching an actor onscreen right after their death, especially someone I liked. I was very fond of Paxton.
