How does the Eureka compare to the Scream Factory? It’s only £9.99 through Amazon.uk right now so even if it is the same transfers it is probably the cheaper option.
Pretty sure they share the same transfers, but here's the UK set reviewed by DVDBeaver if you want screencaps: http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film4/blu-ray_reviews_63/blacula_the_complete_collection_blu-ray.htm
Thanks. I read that, but there is no direct comparison. I’m sure that it is from the same source but that only tells part of the story.
I own the UK set, but have never seen a comparison between the two. Scream's release was released back when they kind of had crappier encoding, so it wouldn't surprise me if the Eureka release is better there. If they still include it, the UK release comes with a nice 32-page booklet and a reversible cover.
After discussions here I've just purchased the UK release, got a good deal, £7.95 delivered, new and sealed from ebay, for that I had to bite, and for anyone interested the booklet is currently still included.
 You mean you’ve never even seen them before? They’re not for all tastes, but if you’re into AIP from the early 70s then you’ll probably have fun with them. I enjoy the sequel more than the first one.
Nah, I watched the trailers and thought they could be cheesy fun, if I don't like em, I'll sell em, should loose too much at the price I paid.
