Yeah, I've got a feeling this will be my Release of the Year pick.

I have got to get this. I have the old AB Blind Dead double feature disc but it is in dire need of a better presentation. Never seen the other 2 films so I'm looking forward to it.

Actually, the BU site lists each of these are individual titles too. So I guess that's a more affordable way to get it one film at a time. I suppose the bonus disc is the the only "exclusive" in the set? Or am I misreading it?

I don't remember the set off the top of my head since I'm at work, but if anyone is interested in seeing the Night of the Seagulls flick, it is in the Brentwood 4 pack that also has House By The Cemetery. I think it's called Horror Rises from the Grave, the 4-pak that is.

Ahh yes, checking my signature, it is in that pack and it's called Zombie Flesh Eaters. It is Night of the Seagulls though.

In agreement here, the first one takes FOREVER for any zombie kick ass action, about an hour, if I remember correctly.

I had Tomb on Elite LD and really enjoyed it. It is a very slow paced movie, but it has tons of atmosphere and I thought the blind dead were creepy as hell. I'll be picking this up for sure. I agree that 15,000 is a ton and it will not be difficult to find.

I'll definitely be buying the set...but yeah, 15,000 isn't going to sell out right away. It'll probably take quite a while to sell out I'll bet.

Add me to the list of those who could care less about this set.
I'm very happy since all the buzz words (un-cut, Limited Edition, first time ever, blah blah) aren't even making me think of getting it, where they have made me buy stupid shit in the past (Supergirl :nervous:).
I had the AB disc with the first 2 and found both incredibly boring. Lucky that went OOP so it was easy to sell on ebay a while back. Never seen 3 & 4.
If I ever see it in a used store for around $20 I might think about it, other than that forget it.
Very over-rated and unless gallons of gore are added, I can't think of any reason to waste time watching them again (esp. part 2).

This will be mine. I can't wait to see 2-4 plus the bonus disk (I've seen the AB version of 1).

i remember the second one having a ton of footage re-used from the first one. it seemed like all the Templars stuff was from the first film, intercut with new scenes for pt 2. was ANY of the Templars footage new?

    $100?

Blue Underground can go fuck themselves. This is kind of a marginal release for me, anyway. And I'm not willing to shell out sixty bucks for this set. Thirty-to-forty bucks, tops. These movies aren't that great to begin with.

I'm really finding myself losing interest in Blue Underground fast. After some decent initial releases -- like Dead and Buried, Baba Yaga, etc -- I haven't picked up much from them since. And I'm still kind of pissed they aren't planning on releasing the first wave of Anchor Bay Hammers.
