Seen it. Pretty wild flick. I thought the cheese was highly entertaining but that's just me.

I watched it off YouTube last year... really strange flick. The story doesn't make much sense at all. It's like whoever wrote/directed it was really high on something at the time.

I thought it was worth seeing in a "so bad its good" kinda way.

most of the feedback seems to be about the dvd quality not the film, definately seems worth a watch if you can find a decent source.

It doesn't make much sense but I really enjoy this weird little cheese ball film.

I actually have the over-sized clamshell TransWorld VHS - haven't watched it yet though.

Really?? All I could find was the trailer. Any chance you could post a link? here's hoping it's still available.

It may have been taken down by now, as it was well over a year ago. I can't locate it on there now either...

Wow, so Ninja III isn't alone in the 80s 'Woman possessed by a Samurai' genre.

I bought the Apprehensive Films DVD-R from Amazon. Well worth it.

Well, I just watched this and am left a little confused. I can understand the appeal with the early 80's campy slasher-esque routines, but a little more explanation please?

Who is the little girl in the picture in the room upstairs in the bedroom? Some third child that died? Was the Samurai there all along or did it come with the girlfriend? I'm assuming the latter, but this ghost seems to cruise around on its own without her - she doesn't really get possessed until the end seemingly. And the part with her masterbating while the Samurai is killing the neightbors - wtf?

How about that musical score in the final scene? I assume that's some public domain material, or this flick was low-budget enough that no one cared. I dunno, it's definitely one of the most odd slashers I've ever seen, but I wouldn't say it's necessarily good.

Really?? Based on the reviews I read it looks and sounds awful. Regardless, I want to see it before blind buying it. But thanks :)

 Yeah, I love them both, and they both complement each other fairly well. BLOODBEAT might be even more crazy though. Who knew rural Wisconsin had that in him? Would love to see a legit release one day.

I really enjoyed this one too and have the Trans World VHS. I wrote the director and he does have the negative but I didn't ask what condition it's in. I would imagine if it was decent condition he would have been contacted by a DVD company already. The Apprehensive DVD isn't too good, so I've read
